Church of St George the Martyr, Dean Prior
The Church of St George the Martyr is a delightful. 14th century church offering a rich heritage, a friendly welcome, and an atmosphere of warm fellowship, and quiet spiritual reflection.
The services are traditional, with Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer on most Sundays, but we enjoy a range of hymns, traditional and modern.
The Sunday service is at 9.15am - except on the 2nd Sunday of the month when there is no morning service. Instead there is a Songs of Praise at 5.00pm in "The Studio" in Dean Prior village, and on the 5th Sunday there is usually a united service.
Dean Prior Church has its own website, with details of services, the history of the parish, links with Robert Herrick, information about coming events, etc. Please click here to access the St George's site.
